Put it this way...if your room is filled with crazy sound reflections, your studio monitors will be rendered ineffective. Personally, I'm digging the Virtual Reference Monitoring in this unit...makes my headphones a lot more useful! http://www.focusrite.com/products/audio_interfaces/saffire_pro_24_dsp/
