I don't believe one company can determine the state of "quality music".
That would be running in to the same gamut that crippled the popular music scene in the nineties.
The net could hardly be compared to club acts to begin with since not everyone is out to get rooked in a scene or has big goals.
There are people that may be liked that would not score well at that organization. So the more the merrier with new outlets and splinter outlets.
