I play Igor in the sketch........Our bowls is completely different from tenpin although that is popular here also.... We play on grass or sometimes indoor on a huge artificial lawn or carpet. It is a very popular sport in the UK and Australia and a few other countries but although played in one or two places is all but forgotten in the States.....the top competitions here are televised and have a huge following. We know football in the usa is not football in the UK. That version of bowling looks like fun. As for the sketch, I thought you might have been Igor.
