Hi John,
You taxed my brain on that one! I re-read (NOT re-wrote) it three times before I got it -- but it's funny! I then had to go Google Mitch Hedberg....
Your post was payback for what I do to my son. He'll be telling a story and insert a "you know what I mean?" into the story and I'll always say, "no, I don't know what you mean!" (But he has good manners and doesn't do that back to me!)

Hi Michael -- Thanks! Yes, Riff does have some fine ideas and of course you wouldn't like "Webster" because Webster wants to put limits on your vocabulary, which I know you hate! lol! Thanks for stopping by! -- Lisa

I actually just found this guy and he was hilarious. Youtube him (I swear I'm first at coining this a verb) and he's got a ton of these "literal" jokes. Died too young of an overdose in a New Jersey motel room. The actual joke goes along the lines of I was asked to write a movie script. They liked it, but said it needed a re write. I said what the hell, why don't I just copy it? But I knew you would get it. Having read a bunch of your stuff now, and seen your other posts, I just knew you'd be able to tune into this type of humour. I played word games with my kids all the time. Sometimes it fell flat, but when it scored it was sublime. If it failed I just said "hey what do you expect? I'm an INTJ" and I blamed them
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

Hi John,
I'm going to YouTube the guy tomorrow and enjoy him! Thanks for the recommendation!
That's funny about your kids -- being raised by you, I have the feeling that they are extremely articulate and well-spoken!
Regarding this song....I wasn't at all sure whether Calvin was going to do the music to this, but I'm delighted to say that he finished it and it's up on the MP3 forum now! He did a very cool job of honoring Old Dog Walker!
Thanks again, John!
