Musically, it's not what I was expecting, I dig it....it surprised me. Where do you get this footage?......is this stuff randomly grabbed and placed in a rough context of what you think the visual outline would be?....or have you shot all or some of it?.....curious.

Musically it's a bossa nova. It's probably smooth jazz, but I guess I mixed it with pop and folk rock bits too. Different for me as well, lots of 9ths and elevenths.
I have a buddy who plays in restaraunts, i thought to myself, what if he wrote this, how would he do it. Thats how it came out
Video looks astonishlingly like it was made for this right? Im no pro at videos but I couldnt believe how well it fit.
I didnt film it, but cam across it, and im allowed to use it for non commercial purposes.

OK found your song. Thought it was going to be more with Spanish lyrics, but this was an interesting idea. The tune is nice con ritmo latino and expresses a sentiment that we gringos often have about the ladies from South America . . . . Gracias

I really like the groove to this, Bugsey. Like the Bossa Nova and the lyric is a good match or vice versa.

Bugsey,
This reminded me of late 60's/early 70's popular jazz. I haven't heard anything like this for awhile. I think you did a nice job with this! I was a little unsure however perhaps, that this bridge didn't leave this Latin bossa nova vibe slightly. I like bridges to digress, but to stay within the genre unless your song is more abstract--I'm not sure on this comment, just throwing it out for you to analyze.
Lyrically, I like this pretty well, but the one line "you got my heart from the very start," perhaps a little trite--I think you need to stay more "sexy" (especially) with a Latin song.
Very cool unique write here!

steady-eddie. Thanks Eddie. it's a bossa nova so I suppose however far that goes back, is how old it could sound. I dont think i would record it this way for real, would probably go more on the pop side. I wanted the lyric to be simple, if the guy s talking to a woman who doesnt speak english....

Bugsey,
Very enjoyable song. It's been a lot of fun listening to all the different genres that have popped up today. It's a refreshing change of pace. My only thought was, and it's not a crit as much as a suggestion... Maybe actually sing one verse in Spanish? If you don't speak the language, maybe you could in list some help. Just a thought. Again, really enjoyed listening. Keep them coming!

Tom yeah I can speak some spanish, took some in college and had a few latin american girlfriends. They usually are impressed to hear spanish coming out of my head lol But that is interesting, use some spanish to get the message across, the thing is then any American guy listening in the shoes of the singer needs to know spanish too.
