A song of mine never sounds as bad as it does, the very next time I hear it, after posting it. It seems that pushing SUBMIT i.e. posting, mysteriously highlights every flaw in the song, to my ears. The very last typo never showed up until AFTER the brochures got back from the printer!

Yeah VIC, loud and clear. Yes BEN, I am my harshest critic- and I imagine I’m hearing things the average listener wouldn’t notice and I have accepted this as par for the course But I still find it amusing / Fuuuunny. I never move on from a song, I step way when I’ve exhausted a set of ideas but I always return - to every song I’ve ever written, with new ideas and ways to improve it. That’s just me. LISA been there done that... with a CD cover, non the less. Now bout them apples? Maybe I'll tell that story one fine day. Guess that's the bottom line, COLIN. Reaching for that unattainable, perfection.
