In case anyone cares, I remember reading that the dancers contract was expired and they didn't resign with Taylor. They were free to go with Katy Perry which was the biggest tour that year. So maybe this feud has more to do with John Mayer.'
All seems kind of petty and lame but it's probably fake and meant to draw buzz and get her fans in war mode. War mode = money.

I like Swift's music, but music video's never meant anything to me, except for concert takes.

Now every media is exploited the hell out of (that's what it means to be "smart" eh), so my thoughts about this was that it basically was a Hollywood audition, just done in a "music" video. Media convergence.. yeah maybe.

If I wanted to be in an action flick, and were in Swift's position.. why not do this. It's a business move.

We can't blame musicians for making "smart" business moves, the youth eats it raw. But closing down to 50, it bores the [naughty word removed] out of me. I'm interested in the music, the ping-pong between musicians, note choices in improvisations, did she put a 9th in there? and wow what a cool unexpected breakdown, they built the song really nicely back up towards the end-kind of thing.

That's what excites me.. guess that puts me in the John Mayer camp of things :-)
