Which pedals should I have for a pedal board for country music? I currently have three BOSS pedals, Chorus, Delay and Distortion, what else should I get?

I would consider a compressor for that bouncy chickin pickin, if you do that. The Boss CS-3 is heavily used, but also the new stuff like Wampler Ego, Barber Tone Press and others with a blend knob. With those you can get a more transparent parallel compression. You would find a EQ surprisingly useful to dial in tones also. If you use different amps, play different rooms ect. You can take out bass, dial in the right highs, pull mids in and out. Can save your butt, and not to mention your budget. If you have an overdrive or distortion you get tired of, use the eq to modify it, and you may find you have what you want anyway. I also love booster pedals to get a big 3D tone. You'd be surprised how much that means after a while. Boosters like the Xotic RC or their EP can be a highly pleasing experience, and very useful. Others: If you don't run noiseless pickups, a noise pedal like the Boss NS-2 will be essential. Tuner, of course. Reverb, if your amp doesn't have it. For sure a compressor/sustainer, consider a phase shifter too. I'm a Boss fan for pedals. Nowadays there are a lot of different makes of pedals. I like the robust feeling of the Boss ones. Good sturdy construction.
