A good listen . . . both tunes. I�m amazed at the production work here by Mike . . . putting these lyrics to existing rock melodies and re-creating them so well using, presumably, the BIAB software. Very impressive.

The lyrics are terrific as well�nice play on Johnny B. Goode on the first one. I thought a few lines were a mouthful to sing, particularly the �I heard . . . � line in the second verse, and �Cuz my chain gang daddy . ..�, but sometimes you just have to go with it, and I�m not sure what you could modify (or would want to).

Thanks Deej...I'm ready to slip into slumber but I wanted to add that as far as I know, BIAB was only used in the transistion, with three background trax on Sherwood. Mind you, I'm a guy who's more familiar with Janitor in a Drum than BIAB. If you'd like a more detailed description of the trax from someone who knows what he's talking about, contact Mike.

The weeds are mowed and it's morning!

Mike's work on this was superlative. It sounds retro and modern at the same time. And his vox sound authentic as well.

Lyrically, I wanted it to go further than Please Go Home and Star, Star. It's up to others to say if I succeeded, but there was little point in doing a rock n roll tribute without advancement. The last one I'm aware of is Dylan's Rolling and Tumbling, which I don't remember.
