https://soundcloud.com/carroll-kiphen/like-frankensteinMusic & vocals/ Andrew Arnold Lyrics/ Carroll kiphen Like Frankenstein Verse I feel just like Frankenstein; A freak without a home; A piecemeal human being; Doomed to yes doomed to; Doomed to a life alone. Chorus My hearts from a brave man I have an artist’s eyes; The soul of a poet That’s serving as my guide . I feel like, I feel like I feel like Frankenstein. Verse You don’t know what you’re made of Till hard times come along; Tumble towers, topple walls And you stay yes you stay You stay standing strong. Chorus My hearts from a brave man I have an artist’s eyes; The soul of a poet That’s serving as my guide. I feel like, I feel like I feel like Frankenstein. Verse I’ve weathered war against me I’ll fight but I want peace But my heart won’t compromise Till I find love for me. Till I find till I find Till I find love for me. Bridge Somewhere there’s someone Someone just like me. Verse I feel just like Frankenstein; A freak without a home; A piecemeal human being; Doomed to yes doomed to; Doomed to a life alone. Chorus My hearts from a brave man I have an artist’s eyes; The soul of a poet That’s serving as my guide. I feel like, I feel like I feel like Frankenstein.

Carroll,
I was a bit skeptical . . . the title, the lyric, left me wondering how this might work. Cool opening, and then that terrific vocal and haunting melody. Great effects (that continual clock ticking) that really accentuate the lyric. Great job by Andrew. If I had a suggestion it would be half the bridge . . . coming off the “I’ve weathered war” verse, it bogs down just a little for me. A subjective opinion, but something to consider—use or lose.
But really ambitious, wonderfully executed tune. Very impressed!
All my best,
Deej
P.S. You are building quite the stable of fine collaborators—really nice job networking to get your lyrics out there. Something is going to hit one of these days . . . or so I hope for you.

A lot of these were done a few years back.I just feel like posting them so they'll be heard. I have well over a hundred finished songs that one one hears.I tried in the past and a couple times had publishers pick up a few but none were ever sold.

kiph,
I enjoyed this song and it's abstract melody direction. Very cool lyrics for sure. I think the bridge needs to digress less abstractly since the verses and chorus have that unique mysterious vibe. In other words, have the bridge musically feel more normal and melodic to contrast better--usually its the other way around! I know you probably aren't taking this back into production, but just an observation, and certainly only JMO. I could see David Bowie doing this song. Andrew's music interpretation is excellent with your lyrics! Well done both of you.
