Sad news,
I got a text from a friend of Mac's that he died this Sunday. He was battling cancer, and finally succumbed.
We were working on a song together that I'll have to finish without him.
I'll post it here when I'm done, so his music will live on a bit longer.

So very sad to hear this. Mac was the best. Always kind and helpful, and a truly gifted musician and composer.
Rest in peace, Mac, and thanks for leaving us such a beautiful body of work to enjoy and be inspired by.

That is saddening.
He was a talented and enthusiastic songwriter to the very end of his life.

I was just working a lyric he and I started last year. Last I heard, he was refurbishing classic tube amps... Seems sudden
Mac certainly enjoyed life...

WOW. Man that was fast. Seems like he just announced it. That was some vicious form he had.
Have to wonder if it's better to be short but nobody has the right to say what life is worth to someone else
Poor guy, he didn't complain here about anything just tried to do what he could.
I was at some point going to ask if he wanted to play or sing on some of my tunes, maybe he'd exist in there for a while. I didn't do it fast enough, I thought hed be around longer.

Sorry to hear of his passing, I didn't know he was sick. I didn't know him personally, but he seemed like a nice guy. My condolences to his family and friends.

This one hurts. Over the years there are certain people you really get to know even though you've never met in person. I knew Mac was battling. He was such a kind JPF friend and a hell of a composer--will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends as well. Mac you had really "smooth melody" and will be appreciated in heaven my music friend!

Offer as a challenge, let people download the track, and come up with what they will. Those are good for forum moral, and gives people incapable of making a track, a chance to create something out if it.

Mac is a wonderful talent, he came in on his "good days" and wanted to share with us until the end.
