I like going to studios with a producer , I have enough isolation at home writing it. I have DAW for ideas. No I will not do demos anymore and pitch them , that's a closed door . 600 or 700 is enough .The market is saturated via internet . James and Paul surround themselves with genius people to get that sound. I understand. I decided a while back that if anyone is going to hear my songs, I was going to have to play them for them, inserted at the rate of one to every 3 or 4 covers in a 12 song set. At my level of the music world, that would be venues such as wine bars and restaurants and an occasional birthday party. Caveat; That would mean dealing with wine bar and restaurant owners, as well other musicians from time to time, and lugging my sh-t around for $100 bucks or so. At 71, I dunno...never say never.

I guess if you can write and play on just a guitar " Fire And Rain " and "Blackbird ", you don't need world class players , but they do anyways on other songs . Age has nothing to do with it , just energy level to keep up

Age has nothing to do with it , just energy level to keep up I still have the energy reserves, but emotional enthusiasm for the endeavor drives and actualizes the energy level...and I'm not sure that I have that at 71.

Well naps lol .. JT and the Beatles knew ( Well they were just kids ) Peter Asher and George Martin would put their songs on a new level. And they did obviously. JT's first album was over produced in England. Peter Asher focused on JT's guitar playing . Well everybody knows what George Martin did.

Dom aka Bugsey aka fdemetrio aka whatever else
Whomever you are emailing or messaging back and forth about me, from Tunesmythe or anywhere else, like you, is a booger eating ghoul. If they were not, they wouldn't have anything to do with you. Martin lide, Martin James lide, sunset unpoet, whatever your loser self is, they ask opinions on songs ask to collab. Anyway, your what 70 something years old, and you use booger as an insult? That right there shows who were dealing with, an old man with dementia reverting back to childhood. And also provides clues to his originality.

Elvis, Peter Asher produced some of Andrew Gold's big hits in the 70s. He was really awesome.

I just found out that Peter Asher produced Andrew Gold's album "What's Wrong With This Picture" which is one of the best albums ever.

He just got a Grammy award in 2024 . What was James 19 years -old when Peter produced him ? something like that . So he was 12 or something picking up the guitar , 7 years later he's a star . Pretty amazing . How he met the Beatles at 18 in England is beyond me ... that produced him .

Your a artitech I’m impressed , I’ve dealt with a few in construction, tuff bizz like music Thanks. Used to be a small time GC and homebuilder also. Have quit that. Too much hell to pay. At 71, I never plan to quit architecture-ing, but I dont plan to work too hard or stack up deadlines that press back on me. When I come on here, and get told that I have some unwritten, unstated obligation to produce a song every day? Say what? Marty
