Tamara Usatova Singer • Songwriter • Performer - Voice/Piano Teacher www.YouTube.com/c/tamarausatovaMost singers know how to sing — but few really understand what’s happening inside their voice. Your high notes, breathing, tone, control — they all depend on how your vocal anatomy works together. That’s what I help singers discover - guided by the Estill Voice Training method — a science-based way to understand and master your sound. 📍I teach private sessions online and in person in Milan. ✉️ DM me “VOICE” if you’d like to learn what’s really happening inside yours. #VocalCoaching #EstillMethod #VoiceTraining

I keep a guitar on the bed, so if I wake up in the night I can easily reach for it, strum and sing a tune or three. I wrote a Song, singing it while lying on my back. Imagine the positioning of my vocal cords. The notes were sustained at the ends of Lines, and the vibrato was gentle and well-executed. Sitting up, trying to achieve that same vibrato quality, I found I could not, without concentration and practice. The positioning of the vocal cords, in relation to each other, in relation to gravity, changed the physical dynamics of the vocal execution.

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
