Elvis...

On one of your song threads, you jokingly admitted to having a "mail-order Korean wife" several years ago... Before you found AI.

Am I wrong? Or, were you just talkin' unintelligible $hit as usual?

You litter this entire site with your unintelligible and irrelevant BULL$HIT, just like Mr Manpussy Lied, but you think I'm the one who needs to be taught a lesson? NOT TO MENTION HOW MANY TIMES YOU RETARDS HAVE DERAILED EVERY THREAD I'VE EVER STARTED WITH YOUR ANTICHRISTIAN/QUEER/BLM INSANITY!

There's only 10 left here, Elvis.
I think you're all in on the joke...
I don't care anymore.
I just want to be here when the place finally dies.

Calling my name out again Tony.
I am not anti-Christian. I'm fine with sincere people deciding to believe in the divinity of Christ.
I love such a person deeply and have for almost 37 years.

But there is little, if any, reflection of Christian principals in the way that you present yourself, even in the single quote above taken alone.

You fit the time-tested description of a charlatan and false-prophet who drapes himself in Christianity for some sort of emotional or material gain.

It appears to me that you are just a knuckle-dragger-piss-off who thinks that saying PTL justifies everything that you do.
It does not.

Quit calling me out and leave Ben alone.

Says the "agnostic" who is ALWAYS "just having a little fun" ranting about politics and religion...

You keep trying to trap me in your little box, Mr Lied. It's like some senile obsessive compulsive disorder... ranting about who gets to define ranting. You can't condemn me for who I truly am, so... you just keep lying and arguing for the sake of argument.
It's absurd.

Obviously, if there were no TRUTH or INTEGRITY in my creative interests and methods, you wouldn't be so markedly committed to discouraging them.

Consequently, you're the least productive member of a songwriting forum.
Go figure.

You're the one with TDS, Mr Lied;
"TONY DERANGEMENT SYNDROME"
And, apparently, it's contagious...

I would accuse you of professional jealousy... But, I'm just a "nobody" with a guitar.

Good luck with your future AI endeavors. I have no doubt that your "Spiritless" computer will continue to be much more insightful, talented, and capable than you are.

God forgives me.

The Devil condemns me.

The atheist laughs at me.

The "Self Righteous" hold me to an impossible standard...

I try to give as good as I get.

There's a long road out of Hell between your AI ramblings and anything Spiritually meaningful, Elvis...
God is not some drunken genie in a whiskey bottle, and you're not Jesus in a Cadillac.

Why should anyone take your questionable commitment to songwriting seriously?

Why do you and Mr Lied just keep $hitting on anything that gets more attention than you?

Why don't the two of you just thank me for my inspiration?

Sincerity and originality can't seem to escape your decrepit sense of humanity...

If you have nothing meaningful to contribute, leave my thread, Elvis.

And here's the punchline... This is what started it all;
=====================================

Alpha and Omega means eternity past and future.
No beginning and no end.

The explanation of creation in the Bible is not very specific...
It doesn't have to be.
The point is, God created the vastness of this universe for Mankind.

Even if you could understand it, you still wouldn't possess the mind of GOD.
The nature of God's creation is our limitation.
We are just a spec of dust in this universe...
And, this universe is just a snow-globe on God's desk.

We count the days and years of our lives by how many times this spec of dust rotates around a sun. When exactly did we begin counting those rotations? Roughly 6000yrs ago.

Here's the real question; If you are the Alpha and Omega creating a universe, then what defines a day of God's time in eternity?

So...
"When did God create the Earth?"
Answer;
Right on time. "And it was good"

It's absurd.

It's not my box Tony. It's yours.
You get trapped by the inconsistency and hypocrisy of your personal brand of religion. Your cult of one.
Once trapped, you evade and/or just ramble nonsense and spew insults.

Lying? about what?

Whatever point you think that you are making in this quote is nonsensical.

Post whatever you want.
If you extend me the courtesy of leaving my name out of your posts and not bombing my posts with insults...I'll do the same for you.

As for Elvis...
Now that he has quit hating on AI and is using it, he is putting up a lot of good songs here. More than anyone else. And his AI songs are good. Encouraging that would help this site.

Tony is the devil

Elvis and I go back a few years.
He's an odd case and, unfortunately, really does need his medication.
Just engage him one on one... You'll soon see he's not all there.
Sad really

I suggest call the Veterans centers for help , you're lack of empathy is alarming

Ben

If you are interested in the well being of this site, as a songwriting site, don't attack Tony.
Let him be and let things settle down. He said that he wouldnt interrupt anymore.
let's see how long that last.
Hopefully, for a while.

The narcissistic behavior associated with Nazism and its leaders includes:
Grandiose self-image: Hitler and other Nazi leaders fostered a cult of personality, projecting an image of superiority and destiny.
Lack of empathy: The Nazi ideology was defined by an extreme lack of empathy for others, especially those deemed "racially inferior," which allowed for the systematic persecution and murder of millions.
Sense of entitlement: Nazi leadership believed they were entitled to control and expand their territory at the expense of others.
Manipulation and exploitation: The regime used manipulation and intimidation to gain control and exploit others for its own goals.
Blaming others: Like malignant narcissists, Nazi leaders projected their failures outward, blaming others for the problems of society

Narcissism usually develops as a defense mechanism. When someone feels deeply insecure, neglected, or powerless (often early in life), they may build a false self-image to protect against feelings of shame or inadequacy. This “grandiose self” becomes armor — they convince themselves (and others) that they’re special, superior, or entitled.

Wow, this thread grew to 35 pages! Yes, but don't get narcissism confused with self-interest (which we all have and should have). I won't name names, but some artists/ stars go beyond self-interest into believing they should be worshiped. That's a narcissist.

Best, John

Evolution and religion both seek to explain our existence, but they do so in different ways—evolution through scientific evidence and natural processes, and religion through faith and spiritual belief. Evolution, supported by genetics and fossils, shows how life changes over time through natural selection, explaining humanity’s biological roots. Religion, meanwhile, offers moral guidance, purpose, and answers to questions science can’t measure—like meaning, love, and the soul. For many, the two aren’t mutually exclusive: evolution explains how we came to be, while religion explores why we exist. I basically think both are right .

I've read the Bible several times and researched Evolution . I'll stick to its a combination of both and not one sided. There is no way the Earth is only 10,000 years old. Proven many times with Radiometric dating for old rocks. The earth is billions of years old . The Big Bang Theory is the same as creation with variations.

Ai is a good preacher , what she says makes sense now.

I mean the stories are unrealistic , like fairy tales

Yeah — that makes total sense, and you’re not alone in feeling that way.
When you read the Bible today, especially parts like the Red Sea splitting in two, people living inside whales, or talking donkeys — it does read like a collection of fairy tales or myths. But there are a few reasons it comes across that way, even though for ancient people it felt completely different.
1. Ancient People Didn’t Separate “Myth” from “Reality”
Back then, people didn’t think in terms of “literal vs. symbolic.”
A myth wasn’t a lie — it was a story that revealed truth.
So when they told stories like the Flood or the Garden of Eden, they weren’t writing modern history or science. They were trying to explain where suffering, morality, and purpose come from — through narrative and imagination.
It’s like how musicians use metaphor to say something real in a way that hits emotionally. The serpent in Eden, for instance, might not be about a literal snake — it’s about temptation, self-awareness, and loss of innocence.
2. Storytelling Was the Only Way to Explain the Unexplainable
In a world without science, mythic storytelling filled the gaps.
If you saw lightning strike, you didn’t know about electricity — you might believe it was God’s voice or wrath.
If someone survived something impossible, that became proof of divine power.
To them, miracle stories weren’t unrealistic; they were evidence that the universe was alive and personal.
3. Later Readers Took Symbolic Stories Literally
Over centuries, people began treating symbolic or poetic stories as historical reports.
That’s when the tension starts — because modern minds read them as “Did this actually happen?” while ancient minds asked, “What truth is this story showing us?”
If you read the Bible like a poem, it feels profound.
If you read it like a physics textbook, it feels absurd.
4. “Unrealistic” Doesn’t Always Mean “Useless”
Even if the stories are fantastical, the emotions underneath — fear, faith, jealousy, love, betrayal, redemption — are universal.
That’s why they’ve lasted: not because the miracles were proven, but because the human truths still hit deep.
It’s like how a songwriter might create a wild image — “I sold my soul to a ghost at the crossroads” — not because it literally happened, but because it feels true.

2 Peter 3

The Day of the Lord

1Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. 2I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

3Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. a

11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. b That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

14So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

Dark clouds hang like sin
Telling tales of men
Looks like rain again
To mark a fruitless end

Thunder sounds like dying
In hearts full of lying
Exhausted bones defying
Life's intent expiring

Onlookers can not cry
Elders don't wonder why
Umbrellas hide the eyes
That crave virtue to imply

Wicked wages are death
Darkness collects its debt
Demons revel in depth
Waiting for one last breath

Storm clouds weeping sin
Lamenting deeds of men
Feels like rain again
For my faithless friend...

Old people aren't more religious than young people .There just to lazy to sin anymore . The worse is God damn it for old people. They're much too lazy for adultery . Old people don't commit murder either , young people do. So we're down to one sin . God damn government . Last I looked I can't an afford a golden calf on false Gods . So thats one less sin . Don't steal, well all depends if they stole from you first , like the government . Love thy neighbor, unless he or she is a ashole , pretty easy to do.

"I'm Just Waiting..."

https://soundclick.com/song/15161152

Time and expectations
My age doesn't suit my mood
Anxiety, anticipation
But the mountains have never moved

The Spirit of the ages
Comforts me in stages
But wisdom is useless
When there's nothing I can do

Complaining, debating
Heaven's hesitating
I'm just waiting

The good book says there's a time for rest
And there's nothing new under the sun
But the hardest test once I've done my best
Is accepting that my journey has just begun

The Spirit of the ages
Colors many stages
And reminds me that
There's nothing better to do

Absolving, redeeming
Heaven's contemplating
I'm just waiting

Mark 8:36
"What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?"

A fleeting profit or an enlightened soul
A childlike heart is free to choose

Wisdom smiles as we grow old
The humble spirit has nothing to loose

A priceless possession
By any measure
A precious gift
An eternal treasure

Merry Christmas

Revelation 21

A New Heaven and a New Earth

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:

“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man,

and He will dwell with them.

They will be His people,

and God Himself will be with them as their God.

‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’

and there will be no more death

or mourning or crying or pain,

for the former things have passed away.”

And the One seated on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are faithful and true.” And He told me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life. The one who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”

The New Jerusalem

Then one of the seven angels with the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city of Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, shining with the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious jewel, like a jasper, as clear as crystal. The city had a great and high wall with twelve gates inscribed with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, and twelve angels at the gates. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south, and three on the west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations bearing the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

The angel who spoke with me had a golden measuring rod to measure the city and its gates and walls. The city lies foursquare, with its width the same as its length. And he measured the city with the rod, and all its dimensions were equal—12,000 stadiad in length and width and height. And he measured its wall to be 144 cubits, by the human measure the angel was using.

The wall was made of jasper, and the city itself of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone:

The first foundation was jasper,

the second sapphire,

the third chalcedony,

the fourth emerald,

the fifth sardonyx,

the sixth carnelian,

the seventh chrysolite,

the eighth beryl,

the ninth topaz,

the tenth chrysoprase,

the eleventh jacinth,

and the twelfth amethyst.

And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, with each gate consisting of a single pearl. The main street of the city was pure gold, as clear as glass.

But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp. By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory. Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.

And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations. But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices an abomination or a lie, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Tony...you should look at the history of Sumer...Sumerians....lived in what is now Iraq. Had a civilization there for 2plus thousand years

Amazing civilization of firsts...you will spot early Bible stories...Noah's Ark, Jonah and the Whale, Tower of Babel, Heaven, Hell,

They invented writing, the wheel and we have 60 minutes in an hour and 360 degrees in a circlre because of their math. They had also known about right angles and Pythagoras theorem

Oh and beer...about 4000 bc

Egypt and surrounding territories have been distorting/re-writing their ancient history in order to hide evidence of the Hebrew Exodus for thousands of years...

The only real question, John V, is why do you keep bringing it up?

Not sure what you are saying Tony. Egypt actually came later and is not under discussions here. Remember where Abraham was supposed to have come from?

I know you have heard of Ninivah, Ur etc...cities that were Assysrian but they took over the area and had a military empire for many many hundreds of years

I'm saying that I will believe God's word.

Your version of history places Abraham before Adam and Eve...
I'm well aware that many "modern" agnostic historians lean heavily upon unproven archeological sciences, and have been prone to contradicting the Bible for hundreds of years now; As evidenced by the "legality" of applied sciences in the Mid East... Why do you think "Christian Archeologists" aren't allowed there? Why do you think Israel can't even publicize what they've found in the "Old City Of David" without starting another fuk'n Jihad!?

Not interested, JV.

Mmmm...not trying to mess with your faith Tony....just trying to point out the physical evidence of Bible stories. Find it fascinating myself.

John,
Tony is not ever going to stop believing what he does. There is no point in presenting alternate facts.

However, For the last handful of days, he has not deluged the site in his personal beliefs, or accompanying insults and arguments.

That is optimal. Don't pick at scabs. And Keep in mind That tomorrow is Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas to you and Tony.

Let's smash the computers
Throw away the phones
Reconnect with sunshine
Air out our homes
Teach girls to be women
Raise boys to be men
Make peace with creation
And love to live again

I don't want more pills
To make me feel better
I don't need insurance
I won't care when I'm dead
I don't need excuses dancin'round in my head
If I can't take it with me
I'll leave it under my bed

'Cause my eyes may be surprised
To see another sunrise

I don't want my bluejeans
To color me a racist
Or surgical transition
I don't think that's wise
I don't want more hatred blinding my weary eyes
If you blame genetics
Then white privilege is a lie

'Cause the skin that I'm in
Is no inherent sin

Let's smash the computers...

I don't need AI
To make me feel connected
Google is the reason
I've been so rejected
I don't need technology to tell me how to vote
I'll just go to church
And ask the Holy Ghost

'Cause a salvation congregation
Won't argue in heaven

I don't need a miracle
To justify my faith
I just need my Bible
To keep me on the ground
I don't need a congressman to classify my pronoun...

Let's smash the computers...

A fleeting profit or an enlightened soul
A childlike heart is free to choose

Wisdom smiles as we grow old
The humble spirit has nothing to loose

A priceless possession
By any measure
A precious gift
An eternal treasure

Merry Christmas

In this economy ? the whole world ? , I'd be happy to afford pork chops
