Ive been struggling with, wanna say morality of using Ai.
Most sources ive read say that even if you te record the Ai, completely as your own, that the melody is considered public domain.
I have few objections to that, one. The song doesnt exist until you Made it happen...just by being there, by your lyrics triggering supportive music, and a mood.
So how could something that doesn't exist yet, belong to anyone but you?
but there's also authenticity, and are you lying if you say its yours?
I think the safest thing to do is see whst ai comes up with, but don't copy it. Use it as a idea generator.
Change the melody. Chords. But use the feel,, .
Im gonna do everything myself at some point, but I also dont want to throw away some cool stuff that was done using ai as a co writer
I guess its hust the admitting that Ai write hakf yiir song is the bothersome part.
Thoughts?

Thoughts? I'm always bothering you . So when does this point happen ? You call a recording studio I wanna book 2 hours . it's not rocket science . You stand in that vocal booth and sing the song . You get a pro to mix it , Wa La your done . Tell wives, to bad I'm doing music, and bribe them with money . It's the Death Do You Part American way . Stand your ground , pick your battles carefully . There are no rules . Give em the man speech once in awhile .

I always look at guilt being an indicated of doing something wrong. My wife made blueberry muffins last night. I looked at them, and took the largest one. Boy, do I feel guilty. It was still good. There's a moral to this story somewhere, I think.

Best bullshit story wins . Having your songs recorded to me is very similar to suno doing it. You weren't a part of the music, either way. I'd even argue that doing suno, you have more to do with the music, thsn just sending it to be demoed. As a singer songwriter your whole thing is sbout authentic. For alot of pop music, it never mattered who did what. I think singer songwriters, folk and blues have a crisis on hand.. I mean who wants to hear suno playing blues guitar?

it is not a demo . it is master tracks as the artist which would be Dom. You can produce them , drums , bass , ect ect . I'm sure I'm wasting my time , but you could try it , before your roadkill in a 4k box

I wanna get more involved using Ai as the band, then there's no bs about who owns whst

The Blueberry Muffin Bandithttps://suno.com/s/nsn6PIzq4dxBWAkZ[Instrumental Intro] [Verse] Kitchen light at half past ten Should’ve gone to bed, but there I went Saw that tray sittin’ on the stove Blueberry magic, fresh and warm [Verse] I heard a voice say, “Take the small” But temptation echoed through the hall Then my hand reached out real slow Like a man who knew he oughta know [Pre-chorus] Deep inside, I knew the truth Greed looks silly in house shoes [Chorus] I’m the Blueberry Muffin Bandit Took the biggest one and ran with it Now I’m sittin’ here with crumbs on my chest And a guilty little ache where my heart should rest Oh, that muffin tasted mighty fine But guilt can rise like dough sometimes Every hungry soul will understand it You can’t outrun the Muffin Bandit [Break] [Verse] My wife walked in the morning light Counted muffins, somethin’ wasn’t right She looked at me, I looked away Suddenly interested in my coffee stains [Verse] She said, “Funny how the large one’s gone…” I hummed a weak defensive song Then Toby barked like he knew the score That little snitch wanted one more [Pre-chorus] Could’ve split it fair and square Now I’m haunted by baked goods everywhere [Chorus] I’m the Blueberry Muffin Bandit Took the biggest one and ran with it Now I’m sittin’ here with crumbs on my chest And a guilty little ache where my heart should rest Oh, that muffin tasted mighty fine But guilt can rise like dough sometimes Every hungry soul will understand it You can’t outrun the Muffin Bandit [Bridge] Maybe guilt’s a little sign That love matters all the time Not about the muffin that I stole Just remembering to think beyond myself sometimes [Interlude] [Final chorus] I’m the Blueberry Muffin Bandit But I’m changin’ — yes, I’ve planned it Next time I’ll leave the biggest one behind …Probably. Depends what kind. Oh, life is sweet and love’s gigantic Even for a breakfast-time romantic And every husband understands it Beware the rise of the Muffin Bandit [Outro]

Great lyrics Rob! Made my wife laugh! Sandy said that "leaving the biggest one behind", will never happen. John, glad you enjoyed it. Right after that line I wrote: Probably... it depends. Which shows you I wasn't that serious about that statement, lol.

Maybe a good title for a song - "The Blueberry Muffin Bandit". The blueberry bandit He just couldn't stand it While it felt good inside his belly His heart had turned to jelly The truth we all demand it What exactly happened With the blueberry bandit Dom, Interesting rhyme scheme, and the “heart turned to jelly” line paints a good image. My main issue is that the song never really centers the blueberry muffins themselves, which feels important for a title like “Blueberry Muffin Bandit.” I also don’t quite feel the guilt or inner conflict strongly enough yet. Right now it sounds more playful than remorseful. The biggest missing piece for me is that the lyrics never mention stealing the biggest muffin. That’s actually the emotional core of the whole idea. Taking any muffin isn’t much of a story — taking the biggest one is what creates the guilt, selfishness, and humor. Without that detail, the “bandit” concept feels a little disconnected from the emotional payoff. Still, I think the concept has potential, especially if the temptation-and-regret angle gets pushed further.

Yes, sir. John stole a muffin. Your song is about stealing blueberries. But, if you want I can say: great write. You nailed it.

"The standard by which I now measure the things in my life is the following: If I was on my death bed, or if I knew I had a short time to live, would this issue be important? If the answer is no.. I don't sweat it at all. If the answer is Yes, you better believe it goes to the front of the order of today's business!" -Brian Austin Whitney
