Ive been struggling with, wanna say morality of using Ai.

Most sources ive read say that even if you te record the Ai, completely as your own, that the melody is considered public domain.

I have few objections to that, one. The song doesnt exist until you
Made it happen...just by being there, by your lyrics triggering supportive music, and a mood.

So how could something that doesn't exist yet, belong to anyone but you?

but there's also authenticity, and are you lying if you say its yours?

I think the safest thing to do is see whst ai comes up with, but don't copy it. Use it as a idea generator.

Change the melody. Chords. But use the feel,, .

Im gonna do everything myself at some point, but I also dont want to throw away some cool stuff that was done using ai as a co writer

I always look at guilt being an indicated of doing something wrong. My wife made blueberry muffins last night. I looked at them, and took the largest one. Boy, do I feel guilty. It was still good. There's a moral to this story somewhere, I think.

Tracks are made in Nashville by humans . You sing to it , it's not rocket science . Having your songs recorded to me is very similar to suno doing it. You weren't a part of the music, either way.

I'd even argue that doing suno, you have more to do with the music, thsn just sending it to be demoed.

As a singer songwriter your whole thing is sbout authentic.

For alot of pop music, it never mattered who did what.

I think singer songwriters, folk and blues have a crisis on hand..

it is not a demo . it is master tracks as the artist which would be Dom. You can produce them , drums , bass , ect ect . I'm sure I'm wasting my time , but you could try it , before your roadkill in a 4k box

glad you enjoyed it. Right after that line I wrote: Probably... it depends. Which shows you I wasn't that serious about that statement, lol.

Interesting rhyme scheme, and the “heart turned to jelly” line paints a good image. My main issue is that the song never really centers the blueberry muffins themselves, which feels important for a title like “Blueberry Muffin Bandit.” I also don’t quite feel the guilt or inner conflict strongly enough yet. Right now it sounds more playful than remorseful.

The biggest missing piece for me is that the lyrics never mention stealing the biggest muffin. That’s actually the emotional core of the whole idea. Taking any muffin isn’t much of a story — taking the biggest one is what creates the guilt, selfishness, and humor. Without that detail, the “bandit” concept feels a little disconnected from the emotional payoff.

Still, I think the concept has potential, especially if the temptation-and-regret angle gets pushed further.
