A good friend of ours (Moe) is suffering from cancer. She’s now in a hospital and things don’t look too good. I wrote her a “fight song” to encourage her not to give up. HOLD ON MOEhttps://soundclick.com/song/15270548[Instrumental Intro] [Verse] Cape Coral sunset, breeze in the trees Parker at your feet, Judy's harmonies You've been walking through a storm nobody chose Still finding a smile wherever you go [Pre-chorus] When the night feels long and the road gets cold Lean on the hearts that won't let go [Chorus] Hold on, Moe Don't let go There's another sunrise Waiting down the road You're stronger than you know Hold on, Moe [Break] [Verse] We saw you laughing, singing every word Like the sweetest sound we've ever heard You've got more songs and miles to go More love to give than you'll ever know [Pre-chorus] When the night feels long and the road gets cold Lean on the hearts that won't let go [Chorus] Hold on, Moe Don't let go There's another sunrise Waiting down the road You're stronger than you know Hold on, Moe [Bridge] Every prayer is riding with you Every dream is pulling you through This chapter isn't where it ends We're saving pages yet to turn [Interlude] [Final chorus] Hold on, Moe Don't let go There's another sunrise Waiting down the road You're stronger than you know Hold on, Moe [Outro] You're stronger than you know Hold on, Moe You're stronger than you know

Rob, this kind of song is what keeps me driving down the road. I've always liked these emotional songs. I hope she gives you a big smile when she hears it. Best to you and her, Tex

Rob I would love to take a crack at a video for this.
I have a personal connection here as my Sabine is 11 years on from a Stage IV diagnosis. Still goes in for treatments
Love the song and what it means for Moe and everyone else out there suffering from cancer
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

Thanks for the feedback, guys.
Moe is suffering from leukemia, and I can tell you she absolutely loves the song. According to a close friend of her, she's listening to it several times every day.
As a friend, there's not much I can do to help her fight this disease, but as a songwriter I can support her in ways I never thought possible. Music can be incredibly powerful. Knowing that this song brings Moe some comfort and hope means more to me than I can put into words.
@John, I'm sorry to hear about Sabine's battle, but 11 years after a Stage IV diagnosis is certainly inspiring. Feel free to create a video for the song. I'd be honored.
