hi Ida, i checked out your site. You have a very soft sweet voice. You sound very cute! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) as for constructive critism...hmm..I would just say maybe to work on the music so it records more clearer. It sounds a bit too soft sometimes..and maybe project a little more. that is all I can really say because you sound very sweet ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) best of luck always, [This message has been edited by KC_2002 (edited 04-01-2003).]

There isn't any advertising really per se, just links to things I am involved in, working on, features and that sort of thing. I like to let my fans know the latest, so that is why there are links on the entry page, for quick and easy access to the latest. My management and I set the page up the way it is as a response to what my fans were asking for. It may not be the kind of set-up every artist should have, but it really works for me. Thanks so much for the feeback tho- that is always a great thing. For clips you can visit the Multi-Media Section (see the navigation bar at the top of he page) of the site or check out these links: Mp3.com or Mp3 Downloads of Let The Candle Burn Checked out the Hevin song and it's very expressive and theatrical. Are you doing CCM? I used to do CCM/Worship and Gospel a few years back when I was Leading Worship in Canada and then the US touring with Ron Kenoly. Cool stuff- best of luck with the album. ------------------ I'm Just Plain Me

hi Natalie, no, i am not doing ccm..i just really liked the song b/c of it's message, so I chose to do it as a duet with another musician. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) My album will consist of many styles of music, not only gospel..anyway, I will check out your stuff sometime! Originally posted by KC_2002: How long have you been singing? Hevin- I've been singing professionally for about 7 years now. I was in choirs and musical theatre as a kid. At 14 I started doing gospel/CCM music at youth events and church. I never really thought about doing it professionally until I was nearly 20 and never got my start in the mainstream (non church) field until about 4 years ago. I released my first album in late 2000 and am now working on my next one. It's been quite an adventure so far to say the least. I am happy to do what I love the most tho. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Let me know when you get more clips up. Hi All,
I just wanted to comment that KC is giving everyone a text book example of good networking skills. Express an sincere interest in others, communicate openly with peers and make friends. Everyone should take that to heart to increase their own network of friendly artist peers.
Great job KC,

Just thought I'd throw our site into the ring as well. I'm in the process of designing a new "much improved" site, but feel free to take a look around. http://www.somethingwickedmusic.com Our music may be a bit on the heavy side for most of you on here, but if you are in need of a little Hard Rock you can hear samples of our music via real player at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/somethingwicked Also if you like what you hear, we will be showcasing in Nashville, TN on June 8th at The Outer Limit. Weird place for a Hard Rock/Metal band to go showcase huh ? Anyway, thanks to those of you who take the time to check us out. Dear Brian A. Whitney, THANK YOU so much for your very kind compliment. It's nice of you to say. As I do try very hard to care about other musicians and give POSITIVE feedback. I don't believe in writing negative comments about other musicians hard work because I know that it is extrememly difficult to put your work out in the public, especially when you are only beginning or trying to get into the music biz. I believe that music and websites should be shared & enjoyed. Not neagatively criticized. Sure, constructive critism is always welcome in my opinion. I like to give feedback and suggestions to everyone I can. I think it is very important considering that we are ALL here to support eachother. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) This is a place where we should feel safe to share our struggles and accomplishments. Good luck to everyone! [This message has been edited by KC_2002 (edited 04-01-2003).]

I always did love a good conga line, and having missed Jazz Fest in New Orleans this year, where I've been in some fine lines, this seems like a good place to jump in. Love everyone's colorful sites! You can go to our site www.friendsandconsequences.com to get free MP3 song files and a taste of Friends & Consequences. Our CD, YOUR BIG NIGHT OUT, will be out in mid-June. May 12, 02 Hi Hevin and KC and others: visited your website. Love your photo! Good professional photography. After some fussing with the RealPlayer download confusion, was able to hear your very clear voiced clip. Keep on keeping on... Anyhow, you can check out my songs (very different style and subjects than yours) at two places: http://www.cdbaby.com/gayle http://www.mp3.com/gayle The mp3 site has six tunes you can hear and the CD baby site features my album "Calling Back the Sun" and four song clips. Thanks! Gayle You are welcome to e-mail me through the websites or leave messages here.
