Hi, hope its ok to post here. I just had a demo completed of a song I've written titled "Closer & Closer (I KNOW)". You can download the full mp3 (3.5Meg) at my site http://www.jclevenger.com/demosong.htm Please give a listen and let me know what you think, good or bad. I've have many more and will post them to the site shortly. My demos were produced at Midimagic Studios in Nashville and usually range in price from $250.00 to $350.00, you get what you pay for. He has great demo singers as you will hear. thanks

Hey there,
I tried to go listen to your demo. The first few notes sounded great...then the skipping started. Has anyone else had this problem. Maybe there's something I could do to get it to stop. I'd love to hear the whole song.
Thanks, Ashleigh

Ashleigh, I just played his song, and Real Player came up as my default player,,,, Very good and nicely produced. It played all the way with no skipping. I have cable speed, so that probably makes a difference. For other MP3's: Downloading will most likely take care of that problem for you. If trying to stream, skipping is due to using the wrong setting for your computer's speed; On MP3's on MP3.com for example, a Lo-Fi should be used if you have phone line speeds of any kind, and Hi-Fi only with cable hookups. If you were already doing it right, then maybe it could be from your player, needing to be updated, or your computer needing to be optimized, or just from heavy traffic. Hope this helps. Please hit our all tracks sometime if you want, while you're on the boards, following the above settings of course!!!! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) lol ------------------ John Daubert, Daubert & Holcombe D&H Records/Publishing, ASCAP www.mp3.com/dhsongs [This message has been edited by dhsongs (edited 05-15-2001).] [This message has been edited by dhsongs (edited 05-15-2001).]

I tried to give it a listen, but I also had problems with it. It kept skipping at the 2 second mark. I'll try again later.
