That comment probably comes from someone who can't spell correctly from either end. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/wink.gif) JeanB

Exactly what do you expect ameture lyricist to say? Half of us don't know the exact words to some of the lyrical phrases and structure in a lyric ie.. meters, rhyme patterns, bookending, etc... so I have to ask what do you expect for people to do? One thing I like to do when I have time is copy thier lyrics.. insert my suggestions, isert what I like about a pariticular bar or line, and just go in depth with a song... but I do that only twice a day... one with a song I like and one with a song that needs it. ------------------ Bo Parker Writes2Passage www.writes2passage.com(I write the songs... I hate when poeple who cant speelll or write good with thier grammer try to giv me a 'profussional' critiqeu and proseed to tear my lyrik apart. Otherwise, I'm fien with most frasing.

Gud won, Koree! Veree funnee...and sew troo!! And, uh, Marian...I believe I've used the phrase "driving rhythm section" in one of our band bios... Oh, well--at least that cliche is a "pithy phrase that says much without requiring a lot of words!" LOL And, kc, I LOVE the word "cheesey"--it tells me that the critiquer finds the work in question attempting to be popular with the masses but that it instead comes off as cheap, unoriginal and worthless. (Uh, it's not that I'd love that the critiquer might say that about my work...it's just that I love the word!) ------------------ www.mp3.com/crisisrocks www.dianatyler.com
