The pines are nodding, the wind's blowing north
a wildcat on a far ledge paces back and forth
but something calls softly for me to come home
a pint of sweet spirits...an old book of poems
but soothing as rum and rhyme can be

I love this kind of lyric from you. The imagery, atmosphere and message all weave quite the spell. I can't pick a favorite line...too many of 'em. Nice work.
