Kaley started this off with the title and started the first verse this morning; but being addicted to rhyme I just couldn't wait. It is just a first draft of course so fire away. . . . . . Surprise Kaley!

Some folks...love their coffee
Because they crave caffeine
Others gotta have their cigarettes...
Cause they're hooked on nicotine. . .
But Kaley....well. . . I'm here to tell
She burst upon the scene
Using oodles of dotted doodles
To convey just what she means. . .

Ever think about turning this into a childrens Charactor? As a Sesame Street Charactor (or other childrens show) I can imagine 100's of ongoing skit and lyric combinations just screaming to be heard.
They could use the dots in lots of fun and educating ways (of course the 'dot girl' would live surrounded by dots.) As I set here looking around me I see hundreds of Dot ideas, from the keys on my phone to pennies in the tray.
BIG ANIMATED COLORED DOTS could also be used to teach basic music reading skills. Lots of potential and ideas in these lyrics. Real Feel Good Song.

wells...if truth be known..., unfortunately..
it's true....I' really am addicted to the little critters..... I've tried to WEAN myself off of them...and I lasted TWO days.
It's got to be something related to when my thought process .....starts ...and stops...
I've Never been analyzed professionally..would be too scarey ...
hmmmmm....and I know of no 12 step program for Dot addiction..

I will try harder on at least my lyrics...
to be more dot conscious....however no promises..to anyone..on my day to day
correspondence.

my favorite line....which cracked me up..was...

My moment of realizing...I had a PROBLEM....was when I received an email from
an illustrator in England...who was complimentary of the children's writing...BUT THEN went on to...tell me...I needed some serious help ...because of my dots....

Well...scarier yet....it can be contagious.....so just be careful.....
(this is true...)....easier for me to see dotting in other people than it is in myself.... you may start dotting..when you least expect it.......

Yep....Kaley caught me with her dots when I first started here and it took awhile to get the hang of reading her e's, but I got it! Caught a few dots, too, but no where near Kaley. Kaley is Queen of Dots! (And if I check on the dotted line, I'm sure the winner is......Kaley!)

Real cute job on this...the "Essence of Kaley".

This is simply ADORABLE!!! There oughta be a 12 step program for such an addiction but why would want her to stop dotting! This does capture the essence of Kaley communications! LOL Though I try to restrain myself, I recognize that I have the same tendencies. Scary thought. Wrote on! I also agree with Willie that this could be a great kid thing! Very visual and very appealing.

I was SURPRISED by this one ...... and thanks for putting up with my dots. It's part of my writing now...and the only way I've found to get rid of them..( Is to go back and delete them ).
