There's a bunch of songs with "Richard" in the title but they're not by anyone I've ever heard of.

"Hey Joe." By somebody. People persist in thinking it's cute to sing around me. I do hope they don't uncover any more...

This one was said, (actually yelled), to me by the artist and writer of it, when I was to take an electric piano lead in the song, "Go Johnny Go". No foolin. 1973, Memories of Margate, NJ.
John, (Johnny to many)
Man, am I lucky or what? Just happened to be in the right place is all it was. Still. Bass2x, and Mike McCourt, (arranger and drummer) were there too.

Here's some more, (you'll see what these are all about though. As heard on TV ads: Here's one that is timeless: "She Came In Through The John Window" And how about another Beatles classic: "Johnny In The Sky With Diamonds" With this order, you'll also get the very long song of: "Bye Bye Mister Johnny Pie" And who could forget the sounds of this McCartney first solo album hit: "Johnny I'm Amazed" And there's more, like this memorable, sometimes too memorable ballad: "Johnnies",,(Nothing More Than Johnnies) Yes, ladies and gentlemen, all that for the incredible price of an old shoe on ebay on New Year Day, when people aren't bidding, for they're too hung over! BUT WAIT! If you call within the next 6 seconds, and can that as clear as you just heard it, then you'll ALSO receive the entire collection of songs with the first names of Bob And John in them! You'll hear classics like the Beach Boy's: "Bob Bob a John" Along with theme songs, as in this baseball ritual song: "Take me out to the John, Bob" Yes, we know. You're asking yourselves how we can give away such classic for so little. Well, we have overstocked CD's.,,,,,, Three of them actually. We started with four, but used one to put on the end of a plunger, since we broke off the rubber part of it while pounding the crap out of it. (Of course, we had to tape the hole up, so whatever crap was left wouldn't be forced up to hit our face,,,,,which we didn't want to have that happen twice! So, in order to make sure we can get rid of,,, (I mean sell) those three remaining CD's, if you act now, we'll throw in that fourth slightly used CD absolutely FREE! Imagine that! Speaking of Imagine, we'll even add one more song to that list: John

Well ASCAP lists 6 songs with “Iggy” in the title. Never heard any of them! I’m sure most will have the word “Piggy” in the second verse. Story of my life.
Of course Ellen DeGeneres sure made my name popular with her meltdown over a dog named Iggy.

Nobody's written a song with my name. Wahhhhhhh!
"Grits is one of those country-boy words that is both singular and plural-like deer, elk and sheep. I think the singular is appropriate when there's a modifier that makes it clear one is talking about something specific. Like, 'Grits are good for you, but these here grits is tasty.'"~~Joe Wrabek
