His name is Kevin Reeves, I worked a dance gig Friday with him and he's simply great. Listen to some of his stuff, he wrote most of it, sings all the parts, plays all the keyboards, produced and engineered it, recorded the drums at a guy's apartment. Just took a listen. I needed a little diversion for a few minutes. You're right...he IS great! "Shine" and "Afraid And Alone" are really awesome. Enjoyed the listen. Thanks for leading me there.

Mike, he's got songwriting chops. I contacted him about being on Single of the Day. I do think that his sound isn't quite him, which could be part of the issue of why he's not getting that notice. That doesn't mean he's not good. I've already e-mailed him about wanting to co-write and such. Put in a good word for me.

I hope he entered this CD in the contest. "Shine" is killer...
OK, I'm playing this CD while taking the kids to the babysitter. After "Shine" comes on and the next song starts to play, my son says "Is that the same song?", I said no it's a different song, but I can go back to the last song. He said "Okie and play it over and over"...so even my 4 year old likes it!
So, street teaming works...thanks to that and the digital age, where I don't have to wait for a CD delivery, a 4 year old is made a fan in what - 3 days? From the time of this post to hearing....
