I felt the need to make another post to show you guys/gals this song "Pet Problem". This one is different in style to "Vagiant" and this is actually our first song to make it to radio. I am really interested in the opinions on this one after the "Vagiant" post. Click here for EL PRIVATES: PET PROBLEM

This one didn't have the same impact on me as your first post. As was mentioned on Vagiant, good music can make up for a lot, and IMO this song's style doesn't add enough to balance out the crassness. This production didn't feel as professional to me. The vocals really don't give the impression of practiced rap artists (not to imply that I could come anywhere close to this myself), and the music isn't distinctive, hooky or interesting enough (to me) to make me do anything but simply listen to and focus on the lyrics (not posted anywhere?). Lyric-wise it had its moments, but it'd be nice to really be enjoying the music and production as well. How did this make radio? FCC napping? Also, you may find that more folks reply to your posts if you return the favor and give your take on theirs. You gotta give to get.

SO WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GONNA STOP BEING JUST ANOTHER PATRIDGE FAMILY TRIBUTE BAND HUH?
joke obviously-duh......but anyway....you are both obviously highly intelligent.......your music does have good production values....its pretty funny......though obviously not for everyone...i have always enjoyed a mix of stuff-including really off the wall stuff like yours.......i am also a fan of fellini movies-the late comedian sam kinison and other rebelious demented souls........like john lennon......i think he would have loved your english drinking song on your myspace page.....though a immensely talented songwriter-he was himself a great fan of-and author of-what they call sick humor.......so yes you guys are musical shock jocks but someday someone will put LSD in your RED BULL and then you will be doing manilow and the hansons and stuff like that.......you might even end up channeling john tesh....scarey thought huh?......well as they say-keep it coming....many will wish you didnt but they have the right to pass on your stuff......and as the other guy said-do be kind enough to review the work of others as well.

This was on Sirius, so thankfully the FCC was nowhere to be seen.
Here are the lyrics:
Pet Problem
Hello to all the cats and dogs That know what I’m rappin’about There’s something goin’ on that needs to be stopped And I hope this song can help There’s type of love that just ain’t right That you hope that you never see Between a gay and a gerbil or a man with a turtle Or a lady with a manatee Let me explain about the other day When I went on the internet I saw something that was just not right And it’s something that I’ll never forget It was a lady and a zebra getting funky by the pool And she certainly earned her stripes But the end result was a great big mess And now I can’t sleep at night
So, Please don’t [naughty word removed] your pets No matter how lonely you get Pull back your cock Take your hand off spot It’s something that you’re gonna regret X2
Now I don’t know what could be considered Classified as pet supplies But I don’t think that they’re lingerie, rubbers or a bottle of Spanish fly Now what could lead to that temptation Is anybody’s guess But they say Dalmatians are really good lovers And they also have eight breasts Repulsive, nasty, sick and twisted Are the words that come to mind Because man’s best friend has a dirty rear end So please don’t waste your time I’d like to take a moment and remember back When a dog was considered a pet But now some people watching Lassie get wet Or they end up pitchin a tent
So, Please don’t [naughty word removed] your pets No matter how lonely you get Pull back your cock Take your hand off spot It’s something that you’re gonna regret X2
It’s been a long time since you been on a date You been single for a couple of years But it’s still no reason to diddle a sheep After a couple of beers Some people think it’s funny makin’ love to a bunny It’s a task that is probably hard You’re a real sick puppy on a Saturday night Chasin’ rabbits all over your yard Then one day your friends catch you watchin’ Nature videos on TV But what they don’t know is that you watch them For help in hand release Get help before you end up getting Mauled by a grizzly bear Because bears don’t like it when you tickle their balls And you whisper bullshit in their ear
So, Please don’t [naughty word removed] your pets No matter how lonely you get Pull back your cock Take your hand off spot It’s something that you’re gonna regret X2

Wow? I hope that this is not going to be the type of music that you post here all the time. Too bad that I didn't see the lyrics posted(at the bottom of the page in a response) before I clicked on the link to listen. It's crass without class

You seem like you could possibly be opinionated. Also, our music comes in all styles and subjects, so no...not everything we post will sound like this genre wise, but maybe just as crass. Was that classy enough?
