Hi All My daughter Katrina who is very musical and drama driven has landed the starring role in her theatre groups production. She has performed in productions in the past but this time the starring role and the final song she sings was especially written for her. Here is a link to the site. Thanks for the comments. Her love of music and drama is driven purely by her. It was her choice alone to get involved with this...coming from a musical background helped but in no way was she pushed or expected to follow her old man....if anything my role model should have put her off... LOL

Hey Jim and Katrina, Very fun.  I'm not sure if it would be adviseable for ME to say "break a leg", but otherwise, I'm sure she'll do great!! Thanks for sharing... And if you can get some video of it, be sure to post it on Youtube or something so we can hear and see her! Hope all's sunny across the pond. We seem to have imported some fog today.... Where did that saying come from "break a leg", sounds painful to me LOL Generally, because of the superstition of many stage actors it's bad luck to wish someone good luck, thus break a leg. It can also be an exhortation to put on a great, exciting performance, ostensibly so the actor has to bow or curtsey, bend the leg at the knee, ie: "break a leg".

Hey Jim, big congrats and hugs to her for me. My Emma (who has now decided that playing with Dad ain't so bad after all) is also in theatre at her school but found she was better off being backstage doing the stage manager thing. Isn't is great when the kids do good?
