I hope this Aussie girl didn't hurt your feelings, believe me Mike, it had nothing to do with you saying what you did about our song "Call a Taxi", golly gosh Mike, I suffer with really bad Post traumatic symptoms, I've been under a lot of stress, I nearly lost the PLOT, but I'm okay, I have got through the worst of it, now I'm crying. Mike you are so special, and I also know that you struggle, and I really feel for you, I understand your frustration. My difficulties isn't physical like yours, mine is Mentally, so please talk to me and let me know that your just fine hah.

If I said something to hurt your feelings, please let me know, Okay.

Nigel I have only seen a couple of posts from Mike, so that's not like our Mike.

He was last seen between The Day The Earth Stood Still and The Forbidden Planet – but don’t tell him it was me that snitched! Otherwise he might want to re-enact Marathon Man with me in the dentist’s chair!!

I'm pretty sure I saw him not too long ago over on MP3 board and he did comment about this health. I know he is going through some rough waters so let's continue to keep him in prayer. We love you Mike!!

As you know I have just been struggling extra hard health wise.

No matter how much I fight,money I spend, not give in, people I see,try to find an answer or help I get absolutely NO where. Nothing has changed in 13 years at all accept to just get worse.

The beautiful thing is how one thing affects EVERYTHING else, so this week has been extra special with an infected bad tooth.
Called about getting it removed guess how much?

But the point is you have a health related problem and then every single thing pretty much in your life heads down the drain aside from the not mattering much.

Thanks for asking about me, it's nice to be cared about. There are those who are or were VERY VERY close to me who don't ask AT all. That's what makes this place most special for me, always has.

I been planning for a while to do a thread on recording and demo situations to answer LOADS of questions we have come up.

I know what you mean about the tooth Mike. I looked it up. Mine is the #2 upper Molar. Half of it fell out a couple of months ago. The other half is there and hurts occasionally. I can't afford to have it pulled. I have to wait for it to loosen and pull it out myself. It was very painful a few weeks ago, but that kind of pain hasn't happened since.

Hope you feel better Mike, sorry to hear things have been so rough for you lately. Prayers are with ya.

Sorry to hear you have a bad tooth Mike, nothing worse then a bad tooth ache, cruel. I have two teeth on my right bottom that have to be pulled out, I accidentally ate a piece of one of them, didn't taste real good, now all the right side of my tongue hurts, cause my tooth is very sharp now, but they aren't aching yet, thank goodness. Dentists are very expensive so I can hear what your saying, so hopefully soon things will turn for you Mike, cause you really deserve a break hah.

We all do care here Mike, so hold on.

Yeah it has gotten WAY beyond ridiculous. And the best part is well intentioned people keep sending me to see somebody who they SWEAR is the end all, and know all. And guess what? Nothing!

The biggest obstacle is finding those who really care. And that is the most important thing in getting ANYTHING done.

As I have said before time & time & time again. At this point I don't even care if a doctor can help me or not. ALL I ever wanted to hear was one just ONE say. "Hey Mike I'm clueless, even more clueless than you, but I'm your doctor and YOU & I will get to the bottom of this no matter what"

41 so far and I haven't heard anything like that. Do you know what it's like to have people ask you "well what's wrong with you? what did the doctors say" And you can't give them a straight answer.

I can hardly stand, sitting up is a struggle and I'm pale as a sheet.

As soon as I can I'll venture into the city to start looking there at the best places. It is SO much easier to venture when your well enough too.

You must stop blaming yourself for things that have nothing to do with you I know it's easier said than done but it will help you.

Yeah teeth are vicious especially when they won't stop pounding and shooting pain into your ear etc...

The best part is this -
1- I have a vestibular problem, and it's like a type of vertigo.
Some of the things I CAN"T tolerate most due to that is MALLS
And Bright Lights

2- My neck is BAD, not only is it stiff and in pain but I have cervical spine damage, herniated and bulging discs.

SO - Where is my new Dentist located? - I the MALL
"I wouldn't get my hair cut in the Mall...

What is the first thing they do there? Shine a HUGE bright light in your face.
Then they lean on chin as your neck is bent in all kinds of positions. I don't care about the digging and drilling.

If I could just get the main problem fixed I'd take care of all the rest of this misery myself!

As i've offered to ben,,,I can be there in no time really, have hammer and pliers in hand, at a notions moment i'll hit ya with da hammer, force your mouth open and yank that ole' tooth on out..no pay needed, you're my friend and i'm not kidding..I'll do whatever I can to help you..puttin all kidding aside, Mike and Ben, my friends, I wish I could help you both..Mike I especially wish I could take all this away from you, wish I had some kind of powers, cause i'd sure do my magic on you..It hurts to see you hurt, you can believe that, when I pray I even ask please to ease your symptoms, take away all your pain,give you more better days than bad ones. $780.00 to pull one tooth.Wow! No wonder dentist make more money than any other profession. They don't want to pull teeth if they can help it, cause once all your teeth are gone, you have no reason to see them again, no more money rolling in. I still have all my teeth except two bottom jaw teeth and two wisdon teeth. The two wisdon teeth had to be removed in hospital by a surgeon, so it was free, the two jaw teeth I had to pay for, I believe it cost $20.00 each, but that was back in the 60s.

Bad teeth should be seen to, because they can cause all kinds of medical problems in other parts of your body.

In Dallas Texas you can go to the college and get your work done much cheaper, but even that now is too much for me too..glyn

Yes I know I've got to stop blaming myself, I'm very good at it, so I need to work harder hah. Mike it seems life throws challenges at me all the time, I go down like a bag of Sh.t, but I get back up fighting harder. I'm determined not to let my Post Traumatic Stress beat me. I have met so many here in Australia that are heavily medicated, but from my own experiences, medication doesn't take away what happened, and it doesn't solve every difficult situation that's thrown at you, it never will, I believe that you have to talk about it, find people who you can trust and feel safe around, who understand, to me medication is a quick fix, but in a lot of cases it doesn't fix it at all, it's still there. You have to deal with what your feeling and what's happening in your life, other wise it festers up, like a volcano, and then irrupts, the best way I can explain it.

Mike I really feel for you, I can hear your frustrations, you fight so hard, and it's understandable that you go down, because the medicals are not listening to you, your in a lot of pain, and you are also struggling with money to pay for your treatment, now a bad tooth, gosh that sucks.

So Okay, I need to stay up, go find myself a job, and save money so I can help my friend Mike out hah. I told you one day I will have the finances to pay for all your treatment, and believe me when I say this, it will happen Mike, and then I'm gonna fly over and meet you and your lovely wife hey, so hang in their.

Excellent work (they do it for grades, so they do their very best), and heavily discounted. Maybe there is a university near you with the same program...?

Hey if this doesn't sound too crazy, call my chiropractor in Puyallup WA - he does some energy work that *can* work remotely - I don't know if he has to meet you in person for it to work, but I don't think so. I got fed up with a stupid health issue here in CA a couple months ago that my dr's couldn't figure out and called him - and shortly after, my symptoms were GONE. So. Strange magic but it worked!!

I would try to respond more often but I hate seeing my name in a title on top of a forum Unless it's the Success Forum lol

Like anyone else I don't mind bitchin once in a while but I'm not a complainer or a whiner. I have a problem I do something about it. I also like to out hustle my obstacles and my troubles. But no matter what i can't get anywhere with this.
Again screw the pain, I would if not for the vestibular/vertigo/sinking in the ground/row boat feeling/ I would go see every doctor in every city. And If I could do that I would go to work, weddings, wakes,dinner,movies,shows,vacations,dentists lol, etc.. etc... oh yeah and GIG like a musician should.

I had a session tonight the client saw I was pale and was in pain and said "hey lets come back another time it's cool"
I went and got that ora-gel stuff and rubbed it into my tooth and gum if I cancel there goes the food. So I bared down & knocked out a drum track in one take. Followed by a bass track in one take and two acoustic guitar tracks.

He said "I can't believe you never played this song before and just nailed the drums in one shot,one take, How do you do that"?

I said "I can only sit up straight for 5 minutes at most"
I have no choice, there are no second takes for me lol

Hey he was happy, Live drums,Bass & two guitars in a studio in one hour!!!
