It's great to hear a fresh new Christmas song and this is
pretty good, like the lyric, melody and the excellent

Thanks for your ears and giving this song a listen. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it. As for my job.. Well, things aren't good up here in Minnesota. Seems it's like that everywhere. I've been asked to go back to playing out like I used to many years ago. That is a killer at my age.. LOL! Just kidding! It is a love of my life though I really do enjoy writing songs more..

Hi Scott,
Well, there isn't much happening in the jobs department due to the economic situation and WINTER! I'm a greens person.. Forester and Park Supervisor by trade.. So, turf and ornamentals, Ballfields of every variety, trails, conservation management, river restoration, landscaping, etc. etc...my favorite being urban forestry. Now you see why it's not easy in my trade..at this time. Oh well!! Sure glad you liked the song I posted. Yes, this is me at my best. I love to write stories into my songs when I get a chance. Most the time they are social comment songs. Anyways.. YOU have a wonderful holiday season..

First of all, Thank you for listening to the old guys music..LOL! I'm really glad that you like it.. You are both to kind to not find the song has somekind of problem.. I do! But than I'm too critical of myself I guess.

Hi again, Bob. This is so often the case to be critical of yourself when you are really good! I often find the opposite when someone might think that it's wonderful and to me, it isn't. One thing I'd like you to know about me - I'm not writing to be kind, I only comment to the songs I truly like/love. If I don't, I just don't say anything because I don't like upsetting people, I know each composition is so important to the creator. I commented on yours because I think it's a wonderful Christmas song. If you feel it needs improving, it gives you even more credit. Good luck with your song, Bob.
