Do you see this song as commercial in the current market and can you suggest any specific artists or groups to market it to.Any feedback appreciated. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=9379703&q=hi&newref=11st Verse: Hey girl, your face looks fine. Hey now, put it next to mine. At least, at least take a glance. Help get us through this skin deep romance. 2nd Verse: Hey babe your body's the right kind. Come on, put next to mine. Sometimes you have got to take a chance to get us through this skin deep romance. Help get us through this skin deep romance. 1st Chorus: I know what you're shopping for - but you're only window shopping in a human being store. You want something better but it don't make no sense - looking at the package and not the contents. (musical interlude). Bridge: You've got reservations about who you chose and I know your expectations are grand. You're in the market for something brand new but the prospects are all second hand. 3nd Verse: Hey girl, you look like your free. C'mon take a chance with me. I'm not wantin to get into your past. All I want to do is just dance. Help get us through this skin deep romance. (musical interlude): 2nd Chorus: Hey babe, strolling through the market. You know you're wasting all kinds of time; I've got your space, drive over here and park it, you're looking for choice and I'm offering you prime. Final Verse: Hey babe, every things in line. C'mon let yourself unwind. Hey, lets go dance and get through this skin deep romance. Get us through this skin deep romance, get us through skin deep, through this skin deep romance.

Thanks for letting me know Mike and for the second and working link, Kevin. When I click on the one I posted it takes me right to the song, so I do not know why this happened.
Anyway, it probably explains the lack of feedback so far. Gotta get back to my real job, myself.
Later, Doug

Hi Doug
Well this feels 'Old Timey' with this arrangement - but it has quite charming appeal -- I think that your melody is very hooky - so if you wanted to go for a today country sound with the music - I would think it will work -- but I'm only an opinion and don't know how to get that from where you are now. But I enjoyed it as is for a listen . jm

Thanks Joice and Calvin, for the positive comments. I still marvel at what happens to a person when they enter a singles bar. They are good for not taking too seriously.
Prime is the better cut, right?
Doug
