I'm sure
I'll be sitting
way up in
the cheap seats,
when I'm out
of hot air,
and my life
is complete,

if or when
I should get to
that grand stage
of heaven.

Too often
I've worshipped
gods of rock and roll
instead of a much
higher power,
Me, myself and...
...I....pods have
tainted my soul
so all chances
for good seats
are soured.


Imbibed on too
many of earth's
pagan herbs,
Man, I've got
a whole list
of bad habits,
and I'm well known
for using endless
four letter verbs
plus I've fornicated
like a rabbit.

Thus this songs
my confession,
in this most
public session,
time to make God
my business,
ask for humble
forgiveness.


But no matter
my seat
or what my
distant row is,
I'll not stay
in those sections
known to cause
bleeding noses.

Cause I'm planning
on taking a huge
leap of faith,
as my spirit
sails outward
like a ....wild
twisted wraithe,
to drop into the modge pit,
that waits far below....
and dance with sweet
angels...head to head
toe to toe.

Hopefully I'll have wings,
to brake my fall with grace,
and the gates of Hell won't take
those fleeing cheap space


So if any of you
should perchance
get there first
and are one of God's
Lucky floor seat fans,
remember those blessed
with a little bit less
please turn and catch
me if you can...

Cause I'm sure
that my flings,
will grant me
tiny wings,
and I'd cherish
a back up plan.
