Surprisingly the most covered song of all time (released recordings) is "Eleanor Rigby" according to the Guiness book of records. Over 131 Artists have recorded and released this song. "Yesterday" is the most covered song by artists who performed the song but may not necessarily have released it as a record.

Just though of the BayCity Rollers, in your backyard...what happened to them, they were big in the 70s. they came to Canada a few times. Saturday Night...the melody stuck in my head but forget the words except Saturday Night being repeated over and over again.

Wow, I'd never have pegged it as Eleanor Rigby. There are a couple of others on the top 10 I would've put in front, like Imagine, Satisfaction (Stones) and Yesterday. I guess you never know!!
