Hey Mac,
Everytime I try to go to the link it goes to a blank page with the Soundcloud logo at the top left corner but nothing else. I don't know if it's on my side or not. That being said, I really like your lyric. I can really relate and I love the way you present it. I hope to be able to hear it.

Soundcloud has changed their interface a bit!
This one starts off with a little "hotel california" vibe, but changes. Nice recording, but this one really isn't my thing I guess.
Interesting chords -- keep writing and recording!

Thanks Mac, It works fine. Sounds good. I like the chordal progression. You should try a faster version in 4/4 time as it has the feel of a Beatles song. It would still serve the integrity of the theme but be more catchy with the chord changes and melody. I already commented on the lyric. Would sound great with a good melodic Bass line and drums. I disagree with Stevie about speeding this up. It would take the soul out of it completely.
Adding some nice bass and maybe a brush kit would be nice after the first chorus.
Loved every second of this as it is so it's a winner through my monitors.

Very cool, Mac - love the chord changes and melody on this. I can imagine writing 52 lyrics in a year - it would be hard but I can imagine it. What I can't imagine is coming up with 52 fresh and unique melodies. You're off to a good start though Scott

Hi Mac...tried the Soundcloud link and the one you left for Stevie...couldn't get either to work. Soundcloud said I need to update my browswer. I went to update it and microsoft said I had the latest version with the latest updates...hmmmm!!!
I'll come back in just a little while and try Chrome...maybe it will work. Sure hope so...your music is always so danged good!

Mac,
Great. Couple of thoughts:
I wanted the chorus to be a little faster. Might be able to keep it the same bpm and use production/strumming more often to achieve this or just speed up the song slightly. Be careful though because I do like the tempo of the verses.
After the half chorus I think you need something there to tell us you are going back into another verse. It is actually just TOO smooth there. A different chord? A little pause?
Anyway that's all I got. Good job!
