Hi Gary,
Thanks for dropping in, the comments and the suggestions. This one will come in at just under 3:30, the magic # for radio. I will get rid of one of the "The's" and change to "Gray clouds across the sky". I really like "The" because it is a strong word versus "A" which is more neutral. I will think about "To someplace that is safer is" but instead or repeating is I would be repeating that.
I was told by my studio guy to call that an "Instrumental Break". Since he has his licks on 4+ gold albums, I listened to him.
I am also not sure about repeating the hook as it throws my meter off. But I will think on it. Thanks again.
