Where Does The Last Gypsy Go
When the wagon's no longer roll And that wayward wind don't blow Can you tell me where does the last gypsy go
Spent all their lives, wanderin' the land An outcast outright,a travellin' band And as the years grow many, the gypsy's grow few With mem'ries a plenty, but no one to pass them to
When the wagons no longer roll And that wayward wind don't blow Can you tell me Where does the last gypsy go
The dance by the fires, song on the wind They fueled desires,of the towns honest men Their tricks of the trade, their way of life Profits they made, fringed on less than right
When the wagons no longer roll And that wayward wind don't blow Can you tell me Where does the last gypsy go
Now the last wagon rolls,to the end of the line The last nomad soul, last of his kind Towards the sunset he rides, along the horizon Disappears from our eyes, like a smoke ring risin'
When the last wagon rolls And that wayward wind don't blow Can you tell me Where does the last gypsy go
Can you tell me Where does the last gypsy go

Nice one, Michael. There used to be lots of songs about gypsies. Not so much anymore. Maybe gypsies are a thing of the past.

Maybe they came to the the UK. There are a good few here. I worked for a museum a few years ago and we had one of their refurbished wagons called a vardo. Tiny thing but they all squashed in. Vic

Nice one Mike. I think if we just declare them a politically victimized group, we'd learn there are millions. Perhaps worthy of subsidizing. I like your wording. Dave
