Catchy as heck, great lyrical hook, a nice humorous feel to the lyrics. Those kind of half-pauses with just the guitar strumming really well too. I really like this. I have no suggestions to make, which is unusual for me I don't think it's punk. Pop-rock?

Hi Vic, I like this a lot. And please don't shoot me, but this feels like a throwback to me of early rock. I am old enough to remember late 50's and early to mid 60's and this has that feel to me. Good luck with it.

Hi Vic:
I don't care how you assign a genre to this... it is memorable, well performed and a pleasure to hear. Thanks for sharing. ----Dave

Mr. Arnold,
Nice blend of music influences here. It sounds to me like Springsteen, Mellencamp, & Orbison collabed on this one--------but I have a feeling you have many influences that make up.........you!
Enjoyed it,

Thanks Eddie. Now wouldn't that have been interesting if they did? You could add a few more names to that list. It's a good thing you four are here.

Thanks for joining us Travis. I don't have the typical type of voice for rock but sometimes you just got to do what you got to do.

Vic,
Well, I wouldn’t say soft punk, pop-rock sounds right to me, but I don’t get too hung up on genres. Does have a little Springsteen feel to it. The mix is sounding quite good to me, Vic. No nits or suggestions that I’m hearing. The electric guitar pops on the left in all the right places. Nice vocal work on this, too! A slight and very welcome change up from you. Good stuff!
All my best,
Deej

Hi Deej. Thanks for your input. It is varying my style a little but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Nicely done Vic. Really like the driving force of the bass and that scrappy guitar panned left is perfect.
Indeed a classic vibe

VIC--
This may be one of the best songs you have done--I have known that same woman back in time!
Keep up the good work!

Hi Vic I like this, nice song and has a good feel about it. I feel the vocal could be slightly bolder but that's just something to consider in case you were going for another take. All in all good work Nigel

Nigel. Thanks for the comment. Someone from Taxi said much the same thing in a critique but I'm afraid my days of bold vocals may be over. :-)

To me this piece is more country rock, reminiscent of some of the stuff Waylon Jennings did later in his career. Love-hate relationship in play in this song.

Hi Beechnut. Thanks for the input. Not sure about the country rock but I do like a bit of Waylon.
