Better for one is not better for another,,,,,so your question does not have a set in stone answer. Try them for YOUR voice. Studios have several mics for singers to try before they lay down their vocals. (If you are starung up a studio of any kind?
In any event, for home studio, as I assume, (wish I didn't have to), maybe start with higher quality mics, rather than the starter ones. Say the Marshall tube mics, and compare same type for "sound" for YOU, and costs. If for studio for many others, get several mics to make your studio better. SEE???? I don't know why you are asking!!!! Help us help you and give ALL info.
But,,,for Marshalls and similiar, (liked by Sub!),figure in the 3 to 4 hundred dollar range for somewhat serious mics that sound great for most. The others will record ok. Depends on what quality level you are aiming for. Starter studio? hobbiest? Wanting to sound like records? Your gear involved is another factor.
Just like on the other board you posted, you should give ALL the specifics of who, what, where, with what gear, and why? (Expectations). Even what all that, you should still try several mics to see how your voice sounds with them.
Different mics for different tykes!
John
