During the 2012 election in Walton, Kentucky, a man named Ronald McDonald ran against Olivia Ballou for a seat on the town's County Council. They each got 667 votes, and had to toss a coin to see who would get the seat. Olivia Ballou won the coin tossing. Turns out, Ronald McDonald's wife fell asleep on voting day and never made it to the polls. One vote. Made ALL the difference. Just sayin'!
