A NEW LIGHT (Lee Streitz)

I
Jesus, I come before you today
In your mighty presence of silence
You see I'm hurting and need to pray
To have your forgiveness sent my way

CHORUS:
Jesus, please see me in a new light
A new light, a new light, a new light
One that has learned the right from the wrong
That's why I am singing this gracious song
It's an endless bridge to you most high

II
Please accept me to eternity
I promise I'll never be the same
Now I feel free in your love for me
I'm made new and I'll uphold your name

CHORUS:
Jesus, please see me in a new light
A new light, a new light, a new light
One that has learned the right from the wrong
That's why I am singing this gracious song
It's an endless bridge to you most high

III
I'm glad you see me pure in your sight
Together we can stay burning bright
Thank you for your love, mercy and grace
Where you are the sun shines on my face

CHORUS:
Jesus, please see me in a new light
A new light, a new light, a new light
One that has learned the right from the wrong
That's why I am singing this gracious song
It's an endless bridge to you most high
