Marc hit this right on ----

[quote=KimberlyinNC][quote=Marc Barnette]The reason that Taylor continues to dominate the marketplace AND continue to keep her fan base is her connection to her fans. you can see it in how she does her daily life, her continuous relationship with her fans which are her and VERY GENUINE. She does more for charity than most people "behind the scenes, not seeking publicity" than most ten Hollywood actors or big music stars combined.

But she looks at songs and videos as A MOVIE ROLE. It is a part. She does it, does it well, expands her fan base (MAXIUMS HOTTEST WOMAN) and touches on all entertainment.

If you pay attention you see how she does this. She does something big bold and controversial, (yet this video is no more controversial than the latest Big Budget Avengers film, which is what this is, a kid getting to play Superhero) she does it all first rate and quality and pretty much captures millions of new people with each move.

Then she will counter act any bad publicity with a "Shake it off", "Why you Gotta Be So Mean" type song which skewers the critics of whatever she has done. She NEVER loses a sense of who she is.

That is why what she does continually works. If you don't like it, as usual you don'[t have to watch or listen to it, but I would be willing to make a bet, you are going to see her follow it up with something that goes in a 100% different direction. And she will get MORE fans.

This girl is a phenomenon and everyone might as well get used to her being around. She is just 22 and is going to be around for a while. In the end, look for her to OWN a major music studio or be the head of a company like SONY. That is where she is headed and what she is capable of. You may be looking at the one who CONTROLS the music industry before it is all over with.
