I've seen so many heroic selfless people drop out of the scene or literally pass away over the years, people who dedicated their time and lives to helping others. Fortunately for Jodi, she has a thriving Voiceover business that's doing extremely well. I finally got to communicate with her about all of this. She's sad but after hearing everything, I think she made the right decision. She never made money doing all that work in much the same way I haven't. We approached things very differently in most ways (like my constant touring for 2 decades meeting face to face, including many visits to Toronto where we got to spend time together and did some events together with some funny stories attached).

JPF is perhaps the last of the truly independent self run entities from the 80's-90's-2000's and beyond still in operation now. There are some newer, as well as one org and the grand-daddy on the internet TAXI who I think had a site pre-internet through AOL and then a website as early as 1991 or 1992. But Laskow has built a real company with a staff and a smart business model. He's the king... I am more like the court jester by comparison. But I did this to improve my own life, expand my world and be my own boss. And if not for the serious health issues, I likely would finally be making money and be able to introduce many things I think would help our members and actually earn me a living off all this work.

I know she'll do great and have far more time to do it. As for me, it's back to the music awards.... it's been slow going of late as I hit a burnout phase, but I am coming out of it and finding judges to help around the world.

Onwards...
