You could try speaking the responses rather than singing them with a tad of reverb maybe.
Should go down well in the pub.
Vic Thanks Vic. I already have quite a bit of reverb in there. I'll keep working on it. Not sure why this would go down well in the pub, except that, come to think of it, everything goes down well in the pub
