I like the positive tone. I don't think the word "transcend" is a good choice. It's usually used transitively, although I suppose it can be used with an implied object. In that case, what is it transcending? Also, it seems like a very positive word to use for something like this. There's a danger that the listener might think you were just looking for a word to rhyme with "end."
