Marty, you announced multiple times, in different threads (including this one), that you were leaving this site and moving to another songwriting forum. Based on that, I assumed you had done so.

When you continued to post, I asked a simple clarification question. That’s all it was — not gaslighting, not an attack.

You’ve now said that you still intend to post songs here, while also stating you don’t want engagement with certain people, which we all know is impossible. That contradicts earlier statements about leaving entirely, which is why I was confused. So, you’re not leaving, right? Then why do you post multiple times that you are?

You also stated that if I joined the other site and asked similar questions, you would report me. Given that, it wouldn’t make sense for me to participate there, since I don’t consider a straightforward question to be harassment or “gaslighting.” I don’t view the behavior you announced as being very nice. But thanks for warning me in advance. Don’t worry, I’m not going to go there.
