Anyone having interesting glitches in Suno or any other AI service?
I was trying out assorted genre for some old instrumentals. Just to see if a different arrangement might spark an idea in my head. I uploaded a 2 minute simple guitar tune and told Suno I wanted to hear it in Jazz and then Blues and then Bluegrass. One of the bluegrass renderings was 1:30 and the other was 7:59.
I listened to the long version and after 3:00 it switched to a slower beat and a different tune. Then it added a girls voice and some really odd lyrics.
Here is a sample:
"Go down on all the rain Running down, you know that I am here Not wanting to be the someone taught me near Go down on all the rain And nights so turn cold And know the road I'd find is gold And in his heart to get old And don't know the cost, but that already's gone And know where to make it with the wrong Go down on all the rain And don't ask the word to do its stay Go down on all the rain"
It goes on for the last four minutes and 59 seconds and then stops abruptly because the time limit for Suno is 8 minutes.
If this was a one time thing I would not mention it. It happened 5 or 6 times in the course of an evening. Sometimes adding random vocalizations. Sometimes actual lyrics. Sometimes it just repeats the short instrumental over and over and changes tempo several times. In one case the rendering never finished. After 20 minutes the system told me there was an error and gave me back 5 credits.
In the past it has added lyrics to instrumentals as I upload, but not very often.
Also, just to play with the software a little, I asked it to create text to picture artwork for the strange song. I asked for "a cowboy riding a chicken being pursued by natives riding cats". It gave me Indiana Jones riding a 2 headed chicken that had 1 horses leg - with a small portrait of a smiling cat in the corner.
This stuff does not surprise me too much. I worked in large scale computers long enough to know that software can be like children - you may think everything is going along fine - until you discover one of them has been putting their uneaten green beans in that hole in the laundry room wall - for a year.
