Anthroponotic Disease (Anthroponosis) & Sapronoses - Microbiology Class The term anthroponotic refers to diseases that are transmissible from humans to other animals. Specifically, it describes infectious diseases where the disease-causing agent carried by humans is transferred to other animals, potentially causing the same or different diseases in those animals.
