You don't live in my head. But you have made your contribution to an atmosphere that has dwindled participation at this site. Which is regrettable.
And you seem to have finally realized that.

It is a simple issue and circumstance. If you have a goal oriented endeavor involving multiple people of different backgrounds and you start beating a political or religious drum....you are going to create discord and drive people away, that would have remained otherwise.

The time tested axiom is spelled out very well in the blue text below.
Violate it with inevitable consequences.
