Sunset...................there is nothing in that lyric that says to return to anything. And you're right, as I stated in the song America is not a "place" it's the people who live here. I just America a flawed human being, which we all are. But it's still the best place on earth or we're still striving to be. I realize the sincerity behind the song. Lovely song. Not as lovely world, but people need to strive for better as you say.
