That's a classic example of a scam. And to Ray, please make it clear: and artist looking for a deal should NOT (nor their family, friends or neighbors) be the people putting up money in a record deal. I don't know any legit labels who made an artist pay 175K to launch their record deal? Your post implies otherwise.
