Howdy Anthony! That was totally new info to me about the other first songs. So cool..love both of those songs! Doubt if mine is destined to be QUITE the standard of those..but who knows? It would sure blow me away if it did go somewhere. The guy who signed me is Sherrill Blackman (yeah he IS a guy). Has been around Nashville for ages. Built up Buckhorn Music (when they broke Kristofferson to the big time), Leanne Rimes, Trace Adkins, etc. Also worked for NSAI for a number of years. He does not accept unsolicited material, however..but I do have an open door now to submit more material anytime I have something I think he might be looking for. He does a lot of Christian and gospel stuff these days (besides country)..but no, as he calls it, "Diane Warren-type ballads". Of the two guys who were here with that seminar, he was the last one I ever anticipated hearing back from.
