I get my writing while I'm sleeping. I dream the words. I always say its my poem people that make a visit every night.I wake up with words in my head and write them down. It usually takes me 5 minutes to write a song. I gave one of my poems to an artist one day who told me I should put music to it and I did. My first two songs ever have been played on Smokey Mountain Church program and was filtered to radio and internet. I've had a good response and have sold a few demos with just two songs on them. Now I'm trying to figure out my next step to take. I've always known I could write but I waited until I got to an ripe old age to do anything with my writing. I'm new on these boards and trying to get to know a few people and see how they got started writing. Teresa
