Your statement "...I got something to say", now that is one of the most simply understated but powerful quotes from this entire thread. Is there a more compelling reason to write? I doubt it. Yiou said so much in so few words. But, that's kinda your style.
Regarding your grown friend crying over your song...doesn't surprise me in the least. I've heard you sing it. It has powerful emotions all the way through. And ya know, Bill...you made a wise decision when you believed your friends and family. So, as you said here and TrumanCoyote said another thread..."keep writing."
